Welcome to the 142. This rather large Sector is located on the south-eastern edge of the City, and has garnered a reputation as one of the toughest in the Meg. The east-side of the Sector borders the Black Atlantic, while the south meets the wrecked and irradiated southern Sectors destroyed during the Apocalypse War (known locally as the Jumble). Having narrowly escaped obliteration during the War, the locals are a rough and ready lot, many of them former inhabitants of the wrecked southern Sectors. Due to its situation as both a coastal Sector and bordering on the Jumble, 142 South has become a haven for criminals of all persuasions, particularly those concerned with illegal goods trafficking and perp-running. Mutant incursions from the Jumble are also epidemic, necessitating constant patrols of the south-side by an already overtaxed Justice Dept. Despite an efficient and dedicated force, the 142 Judges are severely pressed to maintain a semblance of order in the Sector.
